(I am back as I am graduating) The book Gödel, Escher, Bach has been in my reading list for 10 years (?!), and I have never finished reading it ever. So take this kind of break to see whether I can finish it roughly for the first time. I guess it definitely worth reading several times from Chinese version to the original English version. Both versions are fantastic, especially the Chinese translated one, as it tried to ‘transfer’ translated the meaning in the book instead of a direct translation.

For example, a man, a plan, a canal: panama, is translated to ‘叶落天落叶’ instead of a non-sense direct reverse of the sentence.
